So those watercolors I was playing with back in December? I finished them, as well as a bunch more holiday cards. I sent them to close friends and family, with messages inside, and everyone (I think) got them, and appreciated them. It makes me happy to connect with people I don’t talk to on a daily basis — and even those that I do — via snail mail. It feels old-fashioned and adorable and kind of like a gift in and of itself.
